Where You'll Work
As our Medical Surgical Nurse at CHI St Vincent Infirmary, you’ll help our patients with orthopedic post-operative care. You’ll build trust with patients and families by anticipating patient needs, observing them closely, and listening carefully. Remember, this might be your 500th experience with this surgery, but it’s often their first for patients.
Your success in this role comes from working well with the surgical and nursing team to communicate details while paying close attention to the emotional and informational needs of the patient. You do not need previous experience in an orthopedic unit to be successful in this role, but enthusiasm to help others is mandatory. We’ll teach you everything you need to know, which makes this a perfect starting point to launch your nursing career.
CHI St Vincent Infirmary is a 600 bed faith-based, non-profit, acute care facility providing quality health care to patients and communities from all over the State of Arkansas. Our level II trauma center is a regional referral center for cardiology, trauma, behavioral health, cancer care, neurosciences, and other specialties. We have been consistently named by US News & World Report as one of the State’s best hospitals, with high performance in heart care, colorectal surgery, and joint replacement.
If you are committed to social justice, health equity, and prepared to deliver care in new, innovative ways, you belong with us.
Pay Range
$32.28 - $43.58 /hour
